Low-carb diets have been proven to result in more weight loss than low-fat diets, according to a study published in the May 18, 2004 issue of the "Annals of Internal Medicine," though this has only been studied for six months at a time. However, eating low carb does not mean that you can eat high fat with no consequences to your health. But, eating a low-carb diet has not been shown to change the core pH level of the human body.
