Cardio Exercises for People With Bunions

A bunion is a physical deformity that causes your big toe to point inward. This can create a bump on the outside of your toe that can become painful, especially as extra bone and a fluid-filled sac develop at the base of the big toe. Placing extra pressure on the foot, such as during cardiovascular exercise, can cause additional pain. Some exercises are kinder to bunions than others, but always consult your physician before you start a new exercise program.
