Goal and Update
Well my sort of midgoal is to lose 40 lbs by May. Overall I want to lose about 70 lbs, which is roughly what I gained during my four years of college.
It is the end of two weeks tomorrow that I have been on this weight loss journey. So far I have lost 5.6 lbs.
Regardless of opinions, I have limited my portions but not the types of food that I eat. I still eat chips. I still eat pizza. However, I have added more fruits and veggies, replaced pasta with soba noodles or quinoa, and made a conscious effort to walk as much as possible.
I am not perfect, but I have been successful still eating processed foods. I do NOT recommend this by any means. I just think I need to find alternatives, which I am learning more about every day.
I wish I liked zucchini because pasta is life and I miss it. I have been sticking to my Lean Cuisine meals on days when I am in a hurry. I know there are a lot of things wrong with that concept, but sometimes after an all-nighter on homework and 2 hours of...
