Well...i think this will help me stay on track better with eating heart healthy, exercise, and not smoking all together! Sense my heart stents were placed on March 3 2009 (im only 41. My mother and father instead of leaving me china or money when they passed away left me Heart Diease :) I have lost 20 lbs. wohoo go me!!! Still tring to loose more! And not "cheat' on my foods and smoking. Wow its hard some days.
My father is 51 and had a small heart attack. He works out daily (weight training and fat-burning workouts on the treadmill) and is a health nut when it comes to tracking his food, with an uncanny ability to just pass high-fat foods like dessert and cheese (I don't know how!). He is doing fine, but has found that he has genetically high cholesterol. So...I am taking this heart healthy dare and I'm going to dare both of my sisters, too. Here's to healthy hearts!
Here, here! How's your dad now?
Yeah! Good Job!
I need to start a healthier diet period and I may have better success if I start tracking it. Starting with a bowl of concord grapes instead of a Hershey bar. Good start anyway.
Went to lunch in the city. Butternut squash soup, tamarind duck and creps. Not to heart healthy.
For a snack I had some of my strawberry spinach salad. Finding ways to add vegs and fruit to the diet.
What's this strawberry spinach salad?
Thank you. I'll have some today.
After looking at my food diary and trends...Need more vegs. I used to eat them and often. I could say I am to busy, but it would be an excuse. I am busy, but need to take time for me. Get back to cooking healthy meals instead of the easy frozen meals.

I traded my usual cheese sticks with ranch dressing at Eat N Park for a wrap and fruit! Big change for me :-)
