I had a diet pepsi this morning...bad addiction but my case is empty and im gonna try and be strong!
remember we are only reducing not eliminating, there is another dare for that. If a little caffeine gives you some pleasure, why not, just remember to try and keep your numbers down. Harm reduction site.

I have tried to quit coffee, many times. The last time was recent, I quit for 3 weeks. Sick of needing caffeine in order to feel awake in the morning, and in the afternoon. Ready to make a change.
I'm tired of drinking only water, but I'm so allergic to any type of coloring, even natural occurring ones, like in strawberries or tomatoes (I'll itch and breakout in hives). So the lycopene beverage Nawgan, is out. I can't have any artifical sweetner, makes me terribly achy, carbonation bothers my IBS and of course I'm staying away from caffiene. Don't know what else to drink besides water and I always drink plenty through the day...but I like flavors too. Any ideas?

went into my favorite restaurant and my favorite waiter brought me a diet Pepsi automatically, and I drank it. But only one glass. I've had in a week what I was having in a day.
On Monday I had my "last" binge of diet Pepsi (my long time crutch.) I went without any until today, when I had one glass at a family party. Well, I think I'm really ready to get off this for good, but, gee, it tasted so good! I'm hoping quitting will help limit my sugar cravings, my caffine addiction and the amount of money and time I spend on caffine runs.
I do a lot of social work, it is hard not to see clients in the community and not have a coffee.
Coffee and cigarettes make the social worker's world go round, fortunately I do not smoke.

I am tracking one coffee today. Usually I know in advance how much coffee or cola I will have within a day. So now that I have tracked it as one I will not deviate. I have already passed up diet cola. I do not foresee any other times that I will need the caffeine.

New day 3 helpings, a.m. coffee, then coffee with wife after her doc.appt. and then one soft drink cola afterwards, working 1 to 9 then on call, bit different day has thrown me off slightly but from here on in should be none. Enjoyed the coffee, pop not as interesting anymore.

I've been having bad caffeine withdraws for the last few days. Today I just had one black tea and no headaches so far...
