Just a cup of green tea for me. How has everyone been feeling after reducing caffeine. After 1 week of no coffee I am still feeling tired but each day gets better and I have been waking up without my alarm even going off.

I'm feeling much better...I sleep good since I quit alcohol, but notice without the caffeine I feel less groggy the next day...I never want to go through that headache and agitation again!

Decided to give up coffee as part of being healthier. Week two without coffee but have replaced coffee with tea for the time being.

I am powerless over caffeine and my life has become unmanageable around it.
I've made a decision to turn my will, my life, my abstinent food plan (including abstinence to caffeine), over to the care of a power great than myself.
God please remove this compulsive thinking from my brain for today.

After over six weeks, I picked up again in NYC. I am definitely a caffeine addict. It makes me as crazy as fried food. In fact, it has also lead, once again, to binging on bread. I'm recommitting to abstinence from Diet Pepsi and coffee.

I quit alcohol over six months ago and am now dealing with the sugar cravings...so my next step is to get rid of all pop...six days now....again.

No coffee for me today, just a cup of green tea which I am OK with. I won't be at the office until Thursday, which is where I do most of my coffee drinking.

am quiting this dare for the same reason LenoresSucker did, not binging, eating healthy and excercising.im too greedy with my coffee, lol.

By Song-Wolf on January 21, 2011 at 08:50 PM

Good luck! I hope you do come back though at some point. :)

By Song-Wolf on January 21, 2011 at 08:49 PM

One soda. Hooray! :)

By LenoresSucker on January 19, 2011 at 12:11 PM

I'm quitting taking this dare for now. I know I just started but there are other dares I feel like are more important to me right now. Losing weight, eating healthy, exercising & not binging.. I'm focusing on those. I'm not going to beat myself up for drinking diet soda right now. I will work on this later!

By Song-Wolf on January 20, 2011 at 07:29 PM

I hope you do well on those other dares and come back soon :)

I had a few servings yesterday, but today I did well, having no caffeine.

By Former Member on January 20, 2011 at 08:39 AM

instead of having too much caffeine or cutting it out completely I'm just going to have a moderate amount,1 to 2 cups of coffee or tea, unsweetened or a sugar free energy drink.

woot!

I have been "drinkable caffeine" free for almost 48 hours now. I say drinkable caffeine because I have had a little bit of fudge (chocolate) so I have had a little caffeine that way.

The withdrawal headache has been mingled with a head cold so I haven't really noticed it.

I still want to reach for a Pepsi when it's lunchtime. Thankfully I don't have any in the house.

By Song-Wolf on January 17, 2011 at 04:58 PM

I like chocolate. I don't think I could ever cut it out. I'll just lower my drinks. lol

By Song-Wolf on January 17, 2011 at 04:53 PM

3 glasses of iced tea. (Well, I technically had 2, but I'm just about to get up and pour myself another glass.)
