Tomorrow I quit for 90 days....going into training for the Summit 5/10 K to see how much weight I can get rid of and how much better shape I can get in....getting rid of ALL pop will be huge for that!

Drink less caffeine. Avoid all caffeine pop and tea

By LenoresSucker on January 10, 2011 at 05:37 PM

I had one Diet Coke today, that's it. Not planning on having anything else.

100mg caffeine pill shortly before my workout because I was feeling extra sluggish... I drank only one Diet Coke other than that. Met my goal of no more than 2 servings of caffeine a day.

First day of this dare. I'm a sucker for Diet Coke & coffee. I'm trying to replace soda again with water & herbal teas & make both soda & coffee a rare thing. Today I had no sodas & one & a half cups of coffee. Not too bad. My goal right now is to not have any more than 2 caffeinated beverages a day.

72 hours without Pepsi and it feels good! I still crave it but not having it in the house has been the key to not drinking it.

Drank pop the last week of the year with the excuse that I needed the energy to make it through work....now I have to start all over again.

I had a coke with my dinner at Smokey Bones. We went out for Mike's birthday.

I think I did good on total calories for the day with all the walking (shopping) I did.

I'm proud of myself for not getting a drink refill!

I don't have any more Pepsi in the house. My goal is to not drink any in the house. I will allow myself to have a glass when we eat out, which I am also trying to cut back on.

I tried this once before and went about five months before I bought some for the house for a party we were having.

The initial withdrawal will be the hardest part. The headache is the worst part but I've gotten through it before so I know I can do it again.

This morning was the worst - I really wanted to drink some black tea. I was so tired and needed to get stuff done. But I pushed on and got moving and I do feel better now. Glad I did not give in and drink tea.

All I had yesterday was two cups of green tea (minimal caffine) and I sleeped great last night. Good to know that I don't have to buy some decaf green tea.

Two cups of black coffee.

Had 2 cups of green tea today - which has minimal caffine. Gotta start somewhere I guess.

I haven't had any today, or for the last 5 days. I might have some later since it's Christmas, but my focus has been on drinking 64 oz of water, and I've successfully done so for those 5 days :)

Merry Christmas!!!
