So far I've been good today. I am planning not to go too far over my daily calorie limit even though I burned a lot of calories in the gym today.

By bgbrownlee on November 10, 2009 at 03:38 PM

Stuck within my calories (I'm hoping--day isn't over yet)...still room to improve quality of food--too much sugar still.

By bgbrownlee on November 9, 2009 at 09:14 PM

I had a lot more fat, sodium & sugar than I should have. However, I did stay w/in my calorie target.

If you're having cravings for sweets and you just can't handle it, eat a dill pickle! Works for me!

Not too bad, but still room for improvment

By rbudding on October 21, 2009 at 08:18 PM

I ate very few meals today, and didn't even come close to my protein goal. This was due to an irregular sleep schedule, but I still have to fix it.

Oatmeal for breakfast, spinach salad for lunch and Amy's organic pizza for dinner! Yay being healthy! :)

Whew. An overwhelming day with lots of carbs and cheese. At least I won't have to worry about osteoporosis. My goal is to eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

By Layla777 on October 18, 2009 at 11:22 AM

I can eat 5 serving of fruits a day easly, it's the whole vegetable part that throws me off. I just don't like them lol
But I'ma try to get more in my diet this time.

By veggie_vicky on October 17, 2009 at 08:17 AM

as a vegetarian i should eat healthier BUT i dont.
i opt for the easy veggie stuff like Ramon noodles and chips and wrapped stuff.

BUT NO MORE!

im going back to the days when i cookedlentils and ate salads as everyone presumed i was doing lol.

and thats a promise ;)

By insideout18 on October 3, 2009 at 08:38 AM

hey inside, what'd you have for dinner?

By ruthiet_456 on October 8, 2009 at 03:43 PM

I am starting to get my eating under control, although I'm not eating enough vegetables. This weekend I am going to try to shake things up a bit: less beer and more salads. Wish me luck!!

By mentalmystics on October 6, 2009 at 03:34 PM

too much fat and diet soda, not enough protein

By 8SexyBack8 on October 3, 2009 at 02:29 PM

Back on track - yeeha!!

By 8SexyBack8 on October 2, 2009 at 10:00 AM

Yes. I slipped a little yesterday & had a chocolate session - but ate very clean today so I'm pleased about that.

I once had a food sensitivity test done which indicated that I have a problem with candida in my digestive system. When you start to starve candida it dies off and then a load of it comes into your blood stream, which the body finds very difficult to deal with. This can cause very low mood and an intensification of cravings for sugar.

I think that I need to off-set the chance of this happening again by having something naturally sweet (i.e. fruit) mid-morning and mid-afternoon to keep my blood sugar levelled out.
