I did have one slice of pizza today but it was vegi & I stopped at one slice. The rest of my day was EXTREMELY healthy and I did not go over my calories.
I cooked a recipe from home and I exchanged the chips for no salt saltine crackers. This small change cut my usually sodium in half and it also had less carbs in it. So I saved in both categories.
I'm so tired of being on the run. Having a busy lifestyle has meant bad food choices and no time for exercise. Not anymore, I am going to eat healthy and get 20 minutes of excercise in every day.
back on track with recording in my food journal and getting regular exercise after 12 days of travel. Still need to focus on veggies and fruits
Another successful day of eating well. Only thing I can think of that was bad for me is that I cooked my strips of tuna steak in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and some Mediteranean seasoning (drained excess oils and fats of course). Was delicious by the way!
I had a healthy, heavy breakfast after doing 20 sun salutations on an empty stomach. I had and egg white, onion, garlic and mozzarella omlette. I also had one piece of whole wheat toast, 4 oz of turkey breakfast sausage, and 1 ounce of Mexican queso fresco (white cheese). I have a question for the group; if 4 oz of turkey sausage is listed as 230 calories and I drain off the fat and oil that cooks off before I eat it, does that reduce my calorie intake? My instinct tells me to just count it as is and let the difference be a bonus reduction in calories for the day.

somedays are easier than others and this was not an easy day. Retreated into some comfort food of PB&J and Ramen noodles with cheese - but at least I did get in a little bit of veggies (carrots) and fruit (orange juice) so it wasn't all bad.
I'm just starting this today- but so far, Subway 6in for lunch; & steamed shrimp for dinner. Not to bad to start with, I guess.
Starting this dare today as it was the closest I could find to the dare I was looking for which is to COOK more fresh and healthy food instead of prepared foods or quick meals & snacks
I'm definitely eating healthier than usual, but I feel like I might not be eating enough. I feel lightheaded semi-often and have been waking up starving in the middle of the night a lot, which has never happened to me before (only since I have started tracking/watching what I eat). However, I feel like I eat constantly (just good food) I don't feel hungry when I go to sleep, and I'm following livestrong's recommendations. (also not losing any weight or inches at all). ideas?
I dont think I did well today, I had chinese food, and later a lean pocket. And all together snacked way too much.
Over all, today I would say I ate prity good. But I did mess up when I had a pice of garlic bread, and a browine. Otherwise I did good!
