Getting six to eight hours of sleep per night can put you in a positive mood and make you feel refreshed in the morning. A good night's sleep can also help you concentrate better throughout the day.

I need more sleep but with school and homework and soon soccer starting up, it's going to be hard! I can do this! Last night I went to bed at 1 am and woke up at 7 am because of the Jason Aldean concert! It was worth it, but I'm definitely feeling it today
I always manage to go to bed at 1 or 2 am, which is bad for a college student. However, I do suffer from an inability to get to sleep. I always go to bed restless. I don't know if it's insomnia, but it's not right that sometimes I go to sleep at 3,5,6,7 in the morning. My goal is to be in bed by 11:00pm.
sleep has been on and off for ages - being bipolar doesnt help as it makes my head race - but lets give it a go
I am now listening to hypnosis and it works every time. The woman I listen to knocks me out now within 15-20 mins at the most and 2 mins at best lol!!!
I wish I could find a cure to my insomnia. I've been suffering from sleep deprivation for about a week now, and this is not the first time to ever happen.
My worst moment was when I could barely sleep for almost 4 days. Lately it strikes back again. I haven't had a normal sleeping pattern since the past 3+ years, and little amount of sleep since the past 5 years. Irregularly, I switch my night to day at random, and sleep when the sun is up. And at some point I keep waking up every 2 hours. It's driving me insane. I had a heavy headache, blurry sight, dry throat, bloating, short breaths, nausea, aches and dysfunctioning body and mind in general. It's horrible. I only managed to sleep for 5 hours these recent 2 days. I've thought of taking sleeping pills but I decided not to.. sounds unnatural and possibly dangerous to me. Tips, anyone?
What's the nature of ur work?
Work as in occupation? I'm a student, 17 yrs old. I've been busy with school since ever until last year
-now I'm just staying at home, looking for colleges to apply to. I'm an active person in general. You'll always find me doing something even if I'm at home. I spend 1to3 every 7 days outdoor/going out. I do a lot of walking(outside exercise intent) everyday, if that means anything.
Very erratic sleeping behaviour....works out and is physically active, but once I hot the bed, work laptop calls and then my 10:30pm resolution goes as late as 4am. Even when no work, browses TV channels lazily coz sleep doesn't arrive.I think my body has been hardwired to this new bio-clock.
Have to get out of this vicious deprivation somehow.......starting today.

Do you drink too much coffee?
Still sick... Hubby's got the kids @ his folks for his side's Christmas. I have to be sick to get this kind of sleep! I do feel a bit better today.

The longest sleeping night in several months, and probably in the last year: 10.5 hours.
