Getting six to eight hours of sleep per night can put you in a positive mood and make you feel refreshed in the morning. A good night's sleep can also help you concentrate better throughout the day.

love kitty to take naps with me, but at night she's shut out of the bedroom. But first thing in the morning, she sitting outside my door and greets me with a happy mrrooowww!
Rough night last night due to some mechanical problems and resultant issues, now resolved...but made for less than great sleep.
Getting easier to go to bed earlier when I am not watching TV. Unfortunately if I am reading a good book, I have trouble putting it down to go to sleep.
Same thing happened to me, darn TV.
that sounds wonderful...yeah, I know what you mean. I am so conditioned to get up early, the only way I can get more sleep is to go to bed early...cause now I wake up early naturally even on my days off work.
I have allergies year round...I have found if I take a OTC 25 mg (minimum dose) Benedryl a few hours before bed, I sleep like a baby and it helps with the allergies the next day. It's the best sleep I get. I just need to get more HOURS of sleep!
I hate sleep. I tried a natural sleeping pill but when it worked I woke up with a heavy head, literally, it felt like someone parked a truck on top of my head. I'm miserable and tired the whole day but knowing that 'bed time' is coming stresses and frustrates me the whole day. Any advice? I need 8 hours of sleep. I'm at the end of my rope. I can't concentrate and I snap at everyone around me and it's not fair towards them but I just can't help it.
Ugh! Chaperoned a field trip sleepover at the Georgia Aquarium last night and got almost zero sleep! Fun trip, but very tiring! Figure maybe 3 hours max, all broken up into pieces.
I wanted to wake up at 6 and i went to bed around midnight...and i woke up at 9:30.... I am perfectly ready for the day which is in front of me ;)

Wow did I screw it up last night ~ less than 3 hours. Mind was racing on a project I am going to start. Couldn't lie still finally got up and started getting my stuff ready for today ~~ 4:30AM 'for I lay back down. That is pitiful!!!!!!!!
2nd attempt to get more sleep... no even close... 5.5 yr old son had a rough night.... I may be able to get an hour nap in this morning other wise there is always tomorrow!
I went to bed at 2 am. I woke up but went back to bed at 7 and didn't get up until 11 am. My problem is going to bed late, and waking up late, with little energy. I had planned to do exercise, get a good breakfast, and study for my exam, and complete an outline for a speech. I got none of it done. I wouldn't say I need more sleep, but better sleep management. I need a tool to help me and I hope this is it.
Add the Anti-depressants which knocks out all those endless thoughts, but I feel so drowsy in the morning becuase of it. I took them late last night due to studying. I want refreshing mornings. Here goes, tonight! Pills at 9 as prescribed. Sleep at 10, in hopes of starting my day at 6 am for a total of 8 hours.

I'm having a problem, but the opposite last night and really the last couple of nights. I go to bed too late and then wake up at about 7am and go back to bed until almost lunch time. This has to stop. I've set my alarm and sleep through it, pulled the blinds up a bit so light seeps through.. any suggestions?
