Do it!! Some helpful tips:
1. silences is golden
2. don't set a timer, just see how long you can go
3. start with deep breaths, long inhalations, just as long exhalations
4. It is ok for your mind to wander, its a practice! When your mind starts to wander, notice it and draw it back to the quiet place. When my mind starts to wander i think of the word "think", sounds weird but its something to focus your mind on and bring it back to the meditation.
5. It can be helpful to visualize your mind as a quiet and tranquil lake, and every thought you have as just a ripple on that lake.
Once you have been deep breathing for awhile, it truly feels like a natural high, its crazy how far into meditation you can go and how relaxed you feel when you come out
I need to follow my own advice and meditate myself!

I actually feel really good. I'm applying to Graduate School and I received some really positive feed back from Professors. So I feel like I'm on the right track. Also....shout out to me.... I finally decided to stop smoking. I threw away the remainder of my tobacco stash and I actually feel pretty good. I know that later I might have some cravings but I'm okay for now. Overall it has just been a relatively good day.
Woke up feeling Good. My body was in pain but my mind and heart were calm, not much more I could ask for.
i am in a good mood today!! ive been under alot of stress but trying to me calm. lifes to short so making the best of every day!!!!
I get mad really quick. I seem to snap at my family whenever they get near! But today I've yelled just at my anoyying friends. Not bad! XD!
Yesterday my steam meter was through the roof! But I feel better and this week will be a good awesome week!
I like losing weight because it makes me feel better about my body image. Eventualy the weight will come off and you'll feel great

I listened to the audio-book, "The Mastery of Love," and I thought about the possibility of meditating. Mind you, I haven't actually TRIED meditating yet. But I've thought about trying.
