It's now been 3 months without caffeine. I never was a coffee drinker (don't like the taste) but was a Diet Coke fiend until recently. Then I started realizing that the carbonated beverages were filling up my stomach with gas and making me feel bloated. That just doesn't work for me. Now I'm water all the way. I'm not even tempted anymore by a soda, caffeinated or not.

Quitting takes a lot of determination, but I'll vouch that it's definitely worth the effort! I feel so much better!

24 days in a row without Coke. Not as hard as I thought it would be. Feeling better, sleeping better. So worth it.

I switched to caffeine free soda a few weeks ago. Very rarely have a coffee, or a regular soda. I have quit the addiction!

Gave up drinking Coke 12 days ago... 9 days without, 3 with only 1. Taking one day at a time.

Been a year since I had coffee/caffeine! I used to drink 5-8 cups a day at work just out of habit, it was there and taste good. You'd be amazed how great you feel sans caffeine in the morning!

I have quite before, went through headaches for about 2 days, but after that it wasn't anything other than habit that was pushing me towards caffeine. Time to look at this and start making my own decisions.

So here's a question: Is it possible to drink a lot of caffeine and not be addicted to it? I drink diet coke all the time (literally 3-4 most days), but if I go a few days without it for some reason (like there's no more money in the grocery budget) I don't really notice. Is there something that makes some people react more strongly than others?

morning cup on the way to work. I'm going to keep it at that every day. One cup of coffee per day.

Definitely a coke addict! No sodas since Sunday night and no caffeine period since Monday night. Water all day and one glass of OJ in the morning! Feels great.
