I haven't bitten my nails in over a month. I figure quitting one anxious habit at a time is the key to success.
I'm also taking a Tai Chi class that I start today. Hopefully it will give me some tips about how to stay relaxed.
I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder over a year ago. I've just been trying to focus on the positive things in my life since then, trying to find some balance. It's been really hard and everyday feels like an uphill battle for me.

Went to the mall yesterday and made it through without feeling any anxiety at all. I think I've been able to conquer this over the past 3-4 months. You can do anything if you try, you can do it on your own and without following anyone else's advice besides what you intuitively know will work for you. After dealing with an hour bus ride to class then being too anxious and immediately getting on the bus back home because I just couldn't make it and now being relieved of all the insanity is amazing.
Btw, if some sort of program works for you that's great! I personally feel I grow stronger as a person by dealing with any situation without finding any easier way out and that's what works for me, that's all!
Oh no :( what's been going on?

I emailed my mom when I was feeling like I was about to burst with negative energy. I think I only pick up these healthy outlets when I am in desperate need and have just enough will power to steer away from food. Upon emailing, I was able to vent and realize that I really didn't have the world crashing down on me. Just a few nagging issues that can me dealt with over time and don't have to completely rule my mood. So here's me trying to focus on some positives and keep breathing in 3's-therapy based breathing I learned that is simple enough where I actually do it. In 3 counts, hold 3 counts, out 3 counts- In case anyone wants to give it a go. Few, one panic attack averted today-woo hoo!
I'm working on evaluating my sense of self-worth. It's been easier than I anticipated, seeing as this has been a long-term problem for me.
Also, I'd like to keep in mind my identity separate from my relationship while I'm with my significant other today.
My tactic for reducing anxiety is mostly just running and doing things that make me feel productive. Issues with anxiety and depression run in my family and I don't want to follow in my family's footsteps. Break the chain!
I made a plan for homework, and I finally finished folding all my laundry and my room is a little cleaner. Hopefully, I can accomplish about half of my homework on my list (because there is only one thing due this week, and it's on Friday). I'm behind in reading so I plan to catch up on that this weekend.
hi,
despite having doubts about my chef
he's running too far ahead of us
and runs the risk of burning himself out
i just see the weekend as a good time
