I feel so empowered that ive been able to be stress free for 9 days in a row ! Its all about relaxing in a stressful situation. Think about something pleasant when you feel the anxiety coming on. And this journaling thing really does help.

Today was easy. Had a day with a good friend around town. Didn't have to spend much time in a car which is great. Very low anxiety today. Yay!

First day journaling this, my most important goal. Reminded myself how much exercise helps. Other things to stick to: no caffeine, find some kind of relaxation technique and stay organized!

not sure if i should take this or the relax dare but this one seems to fit better, can get pretty high anxiety and/or panic attacks/anxiety attacks sometimes though they had been gone, had it REALLY bad in jr high.not focusing on the past, negative things or things i cant change and not going to extremes with eating helps... A LOT.

I need to take time to do things like this. I spend so much time on the computer, watching tv, drinking/partying, driving... seems like it is rare that i am in a quiet place without technology, noise, traffic, booze.

I need to slow down, unwind and refresh.

Happy New Year to you.

i wonder who i could be and what i could accomplish if i didn't spend so much time worrying. i'm going to change this.

I feel the same way.

Good luck on your journey into the new year!

I am going to stop trying to control things i don't have control of. By removing or diffusing the "what if" thoughts I can reduce some worry. Looking forward to creating a new year filled with less fear/worry.

Wishing all of you success, calm and happiness!!

I've had some days in the past couple weeks where my anxiety was hard to manage. I'm working extra hard in trying to control it. I am currently looking at getting an OCD Therapist to deal with my OCD, which is the basis of my anxiety. This year I am working on making it different for me so i can enjoy life once again.

Up all night last night with what feels like hormone-related GAD. Canceled my overtime for this morning. This is bad. Yoga ahoy.

Peppermint Green Tea (decaf) instead of my second filtre of coffee today. Also, I am letting go of worrying whether or not everyone liked their gifts.

I am glad I found this site also. It's a quick way to hold myself accountable for what I can do and to keep track of many aspects of my life I am working on. I cut out all processed sugars in my diet and at first I saw no differnce, but now after 2 months I really feel a huge difference in my health and mental attitude. Good luck!
