I have made a huge amount of progress in this dare. I completed a 5k and ran all but 4 blocks of it. Something finally clicked in my head and I was able to get over the mental block I have had against running since I was a kid. I am slow as , but I AM DOING IT! I laughed, I cried and I ran. I have gone out since then and have another 5k this weekend. Not sure I am marking this as complete yet, but I am still overwhelmed with how far I have come. :D
That's awesome! A 5K is a goal I am only considering right now...
7.26 miles today. Went a little to late so it was hot and I am definitely not used to it. Had to stop a few times.
3.2 miles today with hills...but i finally went over my first goal of wanting to run for 35 minutes non-stop!! big win for me today! yay! :-)
I'm currently doing the C25K. It recommends running every other day. BUT, I see this group runs every day. I'm hoping to increase my 5k speed. What's better?
Only 3.88 miles today but ran hills. It was pretty brutal, definitley gonna take some getting used to. I had to take a couple 1 minute walks breaks.
Ran my first 5k yesterday, a benefit for women's heart health. I had a blast, smiling the whole time. I started out slow and booked it to the finish, arms raised high across the finish...402/932 is close enough to winning for me.

Up at 8:30am and went for a run, even though I'm tired as . Actually did a cool down too.
