I was rolloing at some of the posts on the Lose Weight dare boards. Laughed my off at a few. Good times but messing with that while I was at work caused me to push quite a bit back for Monday's workload. Probably won't be smiling at that unpaid OT I gave myself next week. Whatevah! I needed to goof off a little this week.
My day is sucking so far but eventually I have to become master of my own destiny and not let everything around me bring me down...might as well start today. I will smile if it kills me (or better yet, someone else).
I tried but I got screwed at work (and not in a good way) doing not only my bosses work by having to work some last minute travel arrangements for a few of our guys that someone else decided not to do before she left on vacation today.
Yes! That is the key right there, J. You are in charge of you and how you respond to everything. Choose what you want and go for it.
So Sunday I went for a bike ride over to the beach (about 11 miles total) on the way back over the bridge from the beach, I braked to the decend and flipped over into traffic. Needless to say, I have nasty road rash, bruises and a few cuts. The funnest thing was that I kept laughing (well after I fainted from the shock once I started cleaning myself up)...Now I laugh almost everytime I tell someone why I look the way I do. Being grown up with scabs on your elbows and knees is hilarious. I even got a lecture from my mom.
Oh my! That's terrible. I hope you're ok. The last time I had a bike accident was about 10 years ago. I was riding to work with no brakes and a CD player in one hand. A car came speeding out of an alley right toward me. I had to choose between dropping the CD player and grabbing the handle bar with my other hand to keep control or saving the CD player and taking a wicked hit. I chose my CD player. I hit an 8" high curb and flipped over. Busted up my knee pretty good but I had to laugh at myself. Thankfully, there are iPod belt clips and arm bands these days.
I am doing much better...now all the road rash and cuts are getting itchy nasty scabs...ewwww...By the way...I would have probably picked the CD Player too. I just love all the funny stares I get when I am dressed up for work in a suit with a nasty cut on my arm.
Ok, I'll take this one on. I know I don't smile enough at all. I spend too much time off from work. Hate my job most days. Well, here's to making an attempt to smile at least 1o times throughout the day. That sounds reasonable, right?
No, personally I haven't.
My ex just told me the other day I'm heartless & a . I'm not sure if I'll be able to.
well hes a buttface and should go suck a pickle ;D
He sounds like a real JEWEL. Good thing you got rid of him!
I discovered this website which made me happy because now I have motivation to eat healthier and to exercise... Also I watched a live stream of one of my favorite band's performances, which was GREAT.
I'm generally a happy person, but sometimes despite the amount of meditation and yoga I do, I find bits of negativity I need to get rid of. A personal dare of mine is to laugh and smile more with the one I love. I need to focus inward and channel in to that great, person I know I am. No more pouting for me, I'm ready to smile until my cheeks ache.
Today, I got my haircut with Christopher. Discussed his job possibilities, opened a Livestrong account, and am about to read Harry Potter with him.
NOOOOO!!! YEESSSS!!! so i gotta stop being a frowner!! just give mua a reason and ill smile for u! name 1 way to make u smile!
I am happier than I have been in years because I am with the man of my dreams. I hope that by taking this dare I will not only approach things with a more positive outlook by let my man know what a great job he is doing of making me happy.

My boxer made me smile today. I also smiled after walking out of the gym after an hour and a half workout!
