Started tracking my food and my fitness. Now that I have started doing both, I've actually been more motivated to stick with this and see it through. :)

Feeling amazing....finally found Ezekiel products..literally a godsend...lol...I can have my bread & eat it too. Tracking everything I put in my mouth...I'm becoming creative with recipes including a lentil recipe in which I use over 17 spices. Yum! If you want it posted no problem...Suprised not to see more posts here..c'mon!

I love this...I read Sugar Busters about 3 years ago and dropped 40 lbs...didn't miss a thing! you replace, brown rice for white rice, sweet potatoes for white ones, etc...reading food lables is key, tricky suckers. No processes foods and no evil white flour or sugar. I'm back here, because a put a few, not all, back on and eating that way is the only way to get & keep it off..shouldn't be eating that other junk anyway. Once you cut those things out, and start eating how you're supposed to be and continue to eat like that, your body just naturally loses weight and puts you where you should be. And to see Dr. Oz endorse this way of eating, that hunk, is a bonus!

I am having a little bit of trouble figuring out some things about eating a low carbohydrate diet along with cutting out sweets. What kind of foods are ok to eat and how much? Also, does it matter what kind of fruits I eat or do most of them count as good carbs unlike pasta and bread??

Ok, here goes.. Sugar is sugar no mater where it comes from. There is NO such thing as a Good Sugar.
download from the web: Good-Calories-Bad-Calories. (just grab the notes to the book).
There are no good carbs.
Fruit you get both sugars: Fructose, and Glucose. there for you get the double wammy.
AND READ the Labels: No High Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG. if it says LITE on the label, its most likely no good for you (unless its dairy where it means that they took fat out of the milk.)

Oh yes when you go on Low Carbs you will need more Good Fats( Animal, Olive Oils, (not veg or corn), Nuts, etc. and lots of meat.
