I worked out the arms last night. I haven't felt the telltale burn yet. I'm wondering if I'm not doing enough. It certainly feels like enough when I'm finished. Any hints?
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about the fat that is on the back. I have it and I am just getting back into working out. I have not done this in a while because of medical reasons but I have gotten clearance that I can work out a little now. Any suggestions.
If you burn the calories, the fat will eventually go away. Chair dips help a lot with the tricep toning. I, myself, am not in good enough shape to do them. Tennis and swimming are great for your arms. If you just practice with the volley board at a tennis court. You'll get some cardio too.
Dr. Oz remarked that women have fat cells on the back of their arms; men don't! Not fair, huh.
Duhn nuh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh Bat Wings!!!! Sorry, that's what I hum while exercising my arms. It helps keep me motivated.
i felt very weak at the gym. i broke a sweat working on my arms which is good, but i got too frustrated and left early. i cried when i got home.
*hugs* Just remember every little bit helps no matter what. Swimming is great for your arms, just tread water with your arms and don't use your legs. I measured my arms today, they're bigger than a small girl's waist. It's hard work, but like I said every little bit helps.
under my arms or triceps store a lot of fat eesh. I can only do like 4 tricep dips withough falling to the floor lol but I'll work on that. I'll do them everyday and try to beat my number ever day or so.
Today's circuit training was tailored for me. Focused primarily on arms and legs and I felt it. Man oh man this is going to be an interestingly painful night.
First day on this dare! I'm getting married in 3 months and I'm most worried about my arms. They've always been big and flabby, even when I lose weight elsewhere! Ugh! Anyway, it's my goal to tone as much as I can for my strapless dress wearing moment. Yikes.
I just did a small arm workout today. I did some traveling over the weekend and came out of it with a head cold and a desire to do nothing but lay on the couch. But I got up and lifted some 5 lb weights. I don't know what the moves are called but I held them over my head, then bent my elbows and brought the weights down to my shoulders, then repeated. I got to 50!
I read in Shape magazine that Beyonce uses a 3 pound weight to box for the duration of her favorite song. She also uses a 5 pound weight to lift for the duration of a song. Then she jumps rope between sets. I've been doing that for the past 2 or three weeks and I can see a difference.
starting this dare today. plan on getting some weights tomorrow. want to tone up my arms so they don't shake when I'm writing on the board at school! :)

I did this workout from a magazine to get michelle obamas arms and the one move that killed was where you have both arms up at your chest like a bicep curled but then you rotate your arm to punch out and alternate and thats one rep and you do 20 reps. My arms were dead after doing the workout plus more.
