I wish there was a squat dare like the push up dare. I looked for one, but couldn't find it. So, I'm using the Tone Legs dare...
I did my Initial test yesterday and hit 75 squats, so I'm starting at Week 3 on the program. I a bit sore, but decided I wanted to start the program today so that I could do squats Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday since I'm doing the push up program on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
Today I did W3/D1 (19,24,19,19,40).
I've decided to do the 200 Squats challenge. http://www.twohundredsquats.com/index.html
We'll see how it goes!
Although I haven't done my regular leg workout of Hindu squats and regular squats , I did stretch for 10 minutes and do 25 minutes worth of walking at about 3.5 mph . I'm pretty proud of myself and may do my squats . I'm not sure yet . It's kind of late in the day and I'm tired . l0l .
oh yeah . and i need to do my lunges :) i forgot about those . . .
Hey guys. I just signed up for this dare. I want to tone my upper thighs. I've beeing doing DDR, so my calves are fairly toned, but my thighs feel like flabby tree trunks.
Do you have any recommendations for exercises I can do (mind you, I do not have access to gym equipment) to tone these upper thigh muscles until they're as nice as my calves?
resistance bands are the BEST for toning your upper legs. The really nice ones are about $15 but it's definitely worth it.
Have you been doing DDR at an arcade, or do you have it for the Wii? If so, I hear Wii Fit is great.
I'm with you on the flabby tree trunk problem, though. Don't worry. You're not alone. =)

I'm new to LiveStrong, and I'd really like to tone and trim my legs so I don't feel so disproportionate in shorts and bathing suits this summer. I'm terribly pear-shaped, and I'd like to minimize that.
