I woke up at 6am, but it did not get out of bed till 7.15am.
I need to get my act together, snuggling with the bf is just more tempting on a old winters morning.

Went to bed @ 9:30 read until 10:30. Turned out light & tried to sleep. Didn't get to sleep until 11:45pm. ARGH!!!! Woke at 5:45am but too tired so I rolled over & went back to sleep until 7:45am.

Oh-way overslept. GREAT sleeping weather & I paid the price for that! Of course, going to bed at midnight doesn't help.

winter is terrible for my morning routine, yet again i stayed in bed till last minute. I need to take control of this!

Today I woke up at 6am it was a very productive day for the most part. Let's try it again tomorrow!

Nope 7am not early enough!

By prochef65 on November 12, 2009 at 07:17 AM

Woke up at 5 am for cat & went back to sleep until 7am. I played hard with her last night & I guess that helped. But I know I'm not getting to bed early enough. Went to bed last night @ 8:30pm but didn't actually go to sleep until 11:30pm.

I was awake a 6.30 but did not get out of bed till 7.10!
Cold winter mornings are killing my mornig routine!
Seeing as i leave at 8am i did not have time to get everything done
Tomorrow i will try again to get out of bed at 6am!

Cat woke me up @ 3:55am, 5:35am, & 6:30am. Lack of sleep made me want to keep going back to sleep to try & get more. Should have just stayed up. Ended up getting up at 8am & being an hour late to work! Blech! Try again tomorrow!

Today I woke up at 6 am to take my husband to the train. I went back home and fell asleep until 9 am. I'm not a morning person so it is really hard for me to get up on my own before 8 am. I really would like to get up at least by 6am so I can go to bed before 11 pm.

This is really early. What is your way of waking up at about 5am? I mean do you use any alarm?

By aamirsoomro on November 10, 2009 at 11:47 AM

Woke up at 10 am

By prochef65 on November 10, 2009 at 10:51 AM

Getting to bed early is mostly my issue as I'm a night owl by nature. I have a "natural" alarm clock in my cat who loves to wake me up @ about 4am to play. Rather than stay up, I usually go back to bed & sleep for about 2 more hours. I'd like to train her & myself to get up at 5am & stay up. That's a reasonable time & would give me time to get in a morning workout instead of trying to find time in the evening.

Hey everyone my name is kayl,

I have decided to take this dare as i want to wake up super early in the weekday so i can do my exercises walk the dog and do my chores before i leave the house at 8am for work.

Today i slept in till 7.20am as i stayed up super late last night!
I normally have my alarm set for 6am to get out of bed and walk the dog before i leave for work at 8 but with the winter here and dark mornings i just don't want to get out and i hit the snooze button!
