Alright. I am a terrible money saver. In the long run I would like to save enought to buy a car. Hoping to set aside about 500 a month or so. I would rather start low and work my way up then start at a crazy amount and end up quitting. So here it goes!!
None so far. I need to stop spending on clothes and shoes thinking that they give me happiness. I need to make changes in my life that will help me to feel good about myself instead of spending as its only a temporary feeling of happiness and not real. It covers up feelings and leaves you with an empty purse!!
So I'm taking on a few dares this month. 1 is to save money and another is to lose weight. I really liked the idea of riding a bike to work. I work about 9 miles from my home and a bike ride in the morning to work and a bike ride in the afternoon home would help me with both of these. Not gonna lie, I'm kind of excited!
cooking, then freezing/chilling my work meals for this week, hopefully saving some time and money!
Brought my lunch again and stayed away from the vending machines for sodas & snickers... oh i do miss my snickers!
I am saving to change my life. 1st thing first is paying extra on my auto loan to reduce my debt to loan ratio so I can buy a house in the near future.
My goal is to not spend any money for 7 days! Not even one single cup of coffee on my way into work! So far, I have gone 3 day without buying ANYTHING!
I brought my lunch to work, did not buy a soda from the vending machine and made dinner at home.
I've decided that for any purchase that is not food I will wait 24 hours before making that commitment. If after 24 hours I still think I need it, then I'll get it.
Ohh, that's a good idea. I'll take it :)
In Argentinean pesos, 115 bucks would be like 500 of mine.
So I started today.
First of all: save a bottle of water at the gym, by re-using one I had bought before.
Fruits are cheaper than candy. That's important to take in account too.
I figured I saved about $12 today by not buying a pack of cigarettes (6.00) and by not eating out at a fast food chain (6.00).
today I spent $35 for Doctor appt. I did good about not eating out today that was a good choice.
A friend who owed me money paid me back but I spent $30 of it. I saved $220.00! My goal is to save $1000. I will not order food tomorrow and I will save all of my tips. This totals $585.00

No buying more bottles of water; just refilling what I have. I have recycled several bottles and put two in my car; left two in the office and two in my gym bag.
