Almost did not walk yesterday, then at the last minute went for a late night walk. Hope I am not getting compulsive about this.

Didn't walk today, but I exercised, so at least I got that in.

By yanazr22 on November 15, 2009 at 12:53 PM
I've hit my old goal of 10,000 steps today by spending a good 80 minutes on the treadmill.
By cleardc on November 15, 2009 at 05:37 PM
Congratulations!!! You did AWESOME :)
By livepell on November 15, 2009 at 07:32 AM
ok every one how did you decide on how many steps to set your step goal?
Go for the mythical 10,000 steps...?
or set some realistic number you know you will met...?
or set a goal just out of your normal range to be a realistic challenge?
By cleardc on November 15, 2009 at 05:37 PM
Do what will work (motivate) you to begin with :)
If you are currently walking 1 mile (approx. 2,000 steps), it may be difficult to reach 10,000 for a few days/weeks.
Set a realistic goal for you and then keep adding (increasing) as you get more fit and active.
You CAN do it!

Didn't walk today. I'll try for tomorrow!

Since marching band season is over, only drop down to one day a week practices. So not getting as much walking in. I hope to fix that soon though. Now, I'm looking forward to Florida with band. Disney World here I come!

Had state finals so not sure how to track that. I was on my feet for about an hour so I just said that.
By tinkerbellmeg on November 5, 2009 at 06:58 PM
Was outside for band tonight for an hour and a half.

By tinkerbellmeg on November 4, 2009 at 05:36 PM
Had band for two hours today. Don't feel well. And I have it again tomorrow night, when it's supposed to be 28 degrees. Yay.
By tinkerbellmeg on November 3, 2009 at 07:24 PM

By tinkerbellmeg on October 29, 2009 at 05:50 PM
Band outside for two hours.
By cleardc on October 30, 2009 at 10:30 AM
I have to ask, is it cold where you live? It's been rather chilly by me so being out for 2 hours would be tough. :)
By tinkerbellmeg on November 1, 2009 at 07:43 PM
Yes, it's been getting very cold lol. The band teachers just tell us to dress appropriately. Our entire band has gotten sick though, like a massive amount. And we have about 140 kids sooo. I'm in Ohio though, so we have unpredictable weather (:
By cleardc on November 2, 2009 at 12:33 PM
Wow, you are tough! Hope you aren't getting sick yourself. Bundle up and stay warm as you march, march, march. Walk on!!!
By tinkerbellmeg on November 2, 2009 at 06:01 PM
Yeah, I have bronchitis and something the doc calls walking pneaumonia. But, if I miss band I get a drop in letter grade, so I can't miss. But, this is our last week, so I can handle it.
By cleardc on November 2, 2009 at 09:29 PM
That sounds pretty bad - hope you don't get sicker out there in the cold. Take care of you as soon as you can. Darn schools with their grades!
By tinkerbellmeg on November 3, 2009 at 07:23 PM
Yeah, I feel like the band directors are Nazis. Just my opinion, lol.
By tinkerbellmeg on November 2, 2009 at 06:00 PM
About 3 hours outside for band tonight. Very cold, and I'm pretty agitated.
By JENIVAY on November 2, 2009 at 07:21 AM
This will be neat to see how many steps i actually take in one day. Plus it is going to help me get to a better me.
By cleardc on November 2, 2009 at 12:33 PM
Absolutely! You CAN do this :)
By tinkerbellmeg on November 1, 2009 at 07:42 PM
Walked around for about an hour trying to sell some fruit for band.
