I never tracked this and don't even know when I started. But - I can say I started using Livestrong about 2 years ago and have maintained my weight and have established MUCH better eating habits that are now a lifestyle. This year, I'm starting a dare to exercise more. I want to incorporate more weights in with my cardio and build a little muscle and tone up some. So - I'm moving to the exercise dare, but hopefully to actually track it this time! Good luck to you all and Happy 2012!
Tina good luck and congrats on two years of maitenance.. weight training is important .. i am commiting to the same weight traing regimin this year as well
that's it come on back to reality bud ... keep coming...or do i need to send my thugs back out there and turn off your power!!
Thanks for the support Steve, and I do try to do something positive everyday for others.... and I can laugh at this, but it's still not fun to SEE so much weight so fast. It's coming down quickly too, but not as fast. I weighed in at 142.8 this morning, so only 3 lbs more than the day of surgery. Wild.
Hang in there everyone, this can SO be done and we're DOING it! :)
Well, how rude! I had my hysterectomy and bladder repair along with some other repairs... and so Monday I had nothing but low call jello and juices and had to prep like for a colonoscopy. The next day was surgery, so ate basically nothing but jello and a pop cycle... The next day very light again and about only 800 calories.... got that so far??? And then I got to come home about 5:00 pm that day, which was Wednesday. Of course, I had to weigh expecting to see a very low amount... instead I had gained SIXTEEN POUNDS!!!!!!! 155.6 Go figure. I've gotten back down to 146 this morning, but good grief.
I'm doing fine, just a bit ticked off with the weight, but since I'm tracking everything, I know it has to be liquids, plus I was filled "with substantial" clear fluids for the surgery, and then all the IV's. So it had better come down each day or you'll hear me screaming from Sparks, Nevada! lol
Have a Happy New Year!!!!!
too funny girl.... hope all is well and do something good for some one today ... make some one smile and your day will be a lot better enjoy the new year and keep tracking.
the official news years day weigh in was 172 ... within my 5 lbs variance so i am going to have good year... maybe a little less alcohol
FAIL well actually i did maintain it after i got to 160 i went up 30 pounds after a few months in SC during the summer so now i am trying to get out of the plateau of 190 and get back down, just the weather in CA is giving me allgeries and making me sick
hang in there buddy we will get there ... fell short of 5000 by 150 miles need to try harder nexty year i guess
You will Steve! You will!
141 even today, which is the best ever for the day after Christmas. It will be lower next report! :)
You ROCK, DEEE!
All I can say is the holiday's were too good to me this year. I will be back in the saddle on my bike this week and pedaling off the pounds.
UGLY this morning 177 a little ...no alot.... too much partying, got some work to do before Sunday morning...just need to find the motivation!!!
139.6 this morning. Am missing exercising big time. It will be put on hold for a couple months, as I'm having a complete hysterectomy on the 28th. I hate being slowed down and feel desperate that I'll lose my momentum.
I know, wise up. lol
it is all about maintian a heathly life and i am sure the surgery will be for your benefit so tough it out and we will keep thinking of you....
thx steve.... I can do it, and I will keep those extra pounds off. Patience is NOT my strength! lol
deee, I will be thinking of you and sending healing energy.
Thanks Alpha... nice seeing you! how have you been??
