1 apple for breakfast, 1 ear of sweet corn on the cob, 1/4 cucumber and 6 baby carrots included in the healthy meal I made for lunch(these were my servings)
Saturday I tried a recipe I found on here. Looked simple enough, but it took me nearly 3 hours. Not worth the effort and time, but it had lots of eggplant and peppers. It was really good but 3 hours? Never again. Glad I tried it anyway.
lol I've been all over the blackberries the last month too... they appear to be in season, and Costco is selling them for dirt cheap
beets, snap peas, fruit/veg juice box, potato, cherry tomatoes
I discovered today I like pickled beets better if I put balsamic vinegar on them. Tried that on the cherry tomatoes, too.
1 serving lettuce, 1 serving of tomatoes, 1 serving red onions, and 2 servings strawberries today
Yesterday I had 2 servings of broccoli, 1.5 servings of salsa, .25 servings of onions, 1.25 serving of mixed veggies
1 celery stalk
3oz baby carrots
1/2 cucumber
broccoli,cauliflower and carrots with cheddar. 2.5 servings
Only 3 servings of fruit today: pineapple, apple; orange.. :-( Starting goal is to eat a fruit or vegetable each time I eat. Missed it for my afternoon snack and dinner. Have to admit that by dinner, I just didn't care. But will keep at it tomorrow. Overall goal is to eat 6 to 8 servings of fruits and veggies daily.
So far romaine, tomatoes, celery & hummus. Probably another salad with dinner and some vegetable Lo Mein tonight.
Haven't updated but I signed up for a organic fruit and veggie delivery to my house.
We eat fresh fruits and veggies everyday now!
Iceberg lettuce salad for dinner yesterday. I definitely prefer baby spinach, but they don't usually have that at bars. :( Today I have frozen veggies and turkey burger for lunch. Planning to grill some peppers and onions with dinner tonight. I'm guessing that would be around 5-6 servings of veggies.
Lots of frozen mixed veggies at dinner last night. I know they're not as good as raw, but they're still better than canned, right? Grilled chicken salad coming up for dinner tonight.
