I was disappointed that I didn't see a loss on the scale this week.  I did have a couple high calorie days at the beginning of the week, over the holiday weekend, but after that I really worked my butt off.  I worked out for 5 & 1/2 hours this past week, a combination of walking, running, recumbent bike, and group fitness classes.  I also worked really hard to stay at my calorie goals, and drink all my water I needed.  I did feel bloated most of the week, so I did end up shedding the water weight in order to stay the same this week.

Other than the scale, I feel really good with all the exercise.  I really have been pushing myself more than normal, so I think it's good that I'm getting out of my comfort zone.  I've also been trying to cook at home more, making healthier dishes, so that helps me stay within my calorie goals too.  I'm trying to manage my cravings for sweets, too.  It helps by trying to keep better track of my "Anything Goes" calories, and keeping my sweets within that.  I even got some Best Life Treats...Skinny Cow ice cream and Hershey's dark chocolate squares.  Hopefully those will help keep my cals in line, too.  Hopefully if I keep up that progress, I'll see some better results on the scale next week!
