Soooooooooo week Two is down and I am about to start adding more grains and fruit into my diet.. I am very excited about that. I miss fruit. The week for me went really well. As you can see I had a significant weight loss this past week. To be honest, a little of it was the first week I wore jeans and this week I wore shorts but either way was still a significant loss.. I am psyched.
So far the diet has proven to be very easy to follow when I prepare. On days that I may not have the right foods readily available or leave something at home, it is hard to improvise so I have to do alot more pre-planning and making sure I have everything. the phase 1 part of the diet really is not hard to master and as long as you do not have too many cravings, and I did not luckily, I cannot imagine anyone having trouble keeping up with this. I do have to admit though that it is much easier being able to do this when I don't have a family that wants other foods.
Working out has also been going great. I went every day this week at least once except for Sunday, my day of rest. I went twice on two of the days. I think that is how I plan on going from now on. Twice on Monday's and either wednesdays or Fridays depending on whether it is my weekend with the kids or not.
If I admit it to myself, today, Sunday, I am hungry. I have to look over my daily plate again.. I just don't think I had enough to eat. I think before I go to bed I am going to have a little bit of peanut butter with celery. That should stem the rolling stomach. Weekends are harder when I am not as busy. I have to find a way to be more active. I should have gone out and shoot pool.. that would have helped..
Anyway, stage 2 is coming next. There will be a little more about that on my video blog so check it out.
As a final aside. I want to thank everyone that has been sending me messages and commenting on my diet. I appreciate all of your support. Your being here adds extra accountability an I do not want to let you all down.. Thank you all very very much..
