Susan:
Weight loss this week 3 lbs
Total in 4 weeks: 12.4
Great to see you’ve set weekly goals at WW meetings and have hit your mark, amazingly great job! Glad to see your food choices have included more fruits and veggies and that you’re planning out your meals in advance and packaging them for travel I know work can sometimes be a little overwhelming, but stay focused and committed to exercise each day for at least 30-45 minutes. On the subject of exercise, switch up your fitness routine to avoid boredom or falling into a rut. (e.g. walking, jogging, swimming, dancing etc.). Keep up the great work - you’re averaging a loss of 3 pounds per week!

Sometimes the house does loose; you beat the odds at Vegas, nice job! Not much to report here, it appears you’ve got the idea and that’s food choices, portion control and exercise. Keep up the great work and stay the course.

Can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with your progress regarding exercise. You’ve stepped way outside your comfort zone and took up boxing, slide-board, agility ladder and circuit training…. Way to go! Now that you’ve mastered the fitness training portion of DFO2, it’s time to focus more attention to logging on Daily Plate and your food choices. The light is at the end of the tunnel and your wedding is around the corner. Tick tock, tick…

It’s been 4 weeks and you’re at a great weight loss pace and I applaud your effort and commitment… Keep up the great work and continued success.Call me old school but I really feel like the only true way to get a great work-out is to get outside and knock it out. But you’re not the only one who talks about the Wii and their exercise games. Before I pass judgment I promise to try a work-out this week on the Wii.Great job on the food choices and I’m glad you understand the importance of food choices and portion control and way to keep John in check too!

Weight loss this week 4.8 lbs

A planned vacation in the middle of a diet is torture, all I can say is stay focused. The great news about vacation is that the lower stress level and more “free time” lends itself to exercise - you can definitely have a friend or family member exercise with you - grab whomever is closest!Glad to see you understand the importance of food choices, exercise and portion control. That has always been a constant battle for me in education my current clients. I am so impressed that you took the time to list your“vacation goals”, a really smart move.I’m looking forward to reading about it in your post next week.

Sorry to read about food poisoning. After speaking on the phone, you seem to be in better spirits and on the mend. You might be right in your assessment regarding your plateau in weight loss but keep in mind that food choices are one of the components to losing weight. Remember, portion control is a key compliment to all food choices. Why not try staying away from the fast /processed foods this week – let’s see if that makes a difference in your weight lossGlad to see you’re working more w/ a personal trainer my advice is to focus on sculpting your muscles w/ light weight, high reps as opposed to heavy weight to build… Just a thought. Keep up the great effort and look forward to your weekly progress report.
Summary
In closing I want to point out a few items that I noticed on most of the Weight Watchers teams’ Daily Plate tracking:
Food Choices & Fitness Logging.
Tracking your food and exercise on the Daily Plate is NOT an option it is mandatory. We (me included) need to log each meal/input and exercise/output every day. This is how we hold each other accountable for what we are putting in and what we are out putting daily.Another equally important note, I strongly suggest getting a heart rate monitor.
Please see the link below:www.heartratemonitorsusa.com/F4-black-thunder.html
I feel that some of the exercises that are being logged via the Daily Plate fitness database are grossly over calculated. I know that LIVESTRONG.COM is working to fix this issue. In the mean time a heart rate monitor is the absolute best way to get an precise number of calories burned based on you (your gender, height, weight, age).
Remember life’s about choices so keep up the great work and choose wisely for your next meal.
Best,
Thomas
