How to Dive as a Goalkeeper

The goalkeeper is the last line of defense in a soccer team. That gives you a lot of potentially nerve-wracking responsibility. So, you need to use all of the techniques at your disposal to stop that ball from hitting the back of your net. Diving to reach shots means you can cover more ground faster to push the ball away to safety. Goalkeeping dives come in two main forms: the ground dive and the diving aerial save. Each uses similar techniques, but each works for different types of shot.
