Effects of the Cookie Diet

Cookie Diet Complaints

The Cookie Diet was created by Dr. Sanford Siegal in 1975 as a weight loss method for his overweight patients. Siegal introduced his diet to the public in 2007. He claims to have worked on his cookie recipe for years to perfect the ingredients and design cookies that will suppress your appetite. The Cookie Diet is detailed in Siegal's book, "Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet Book." The diet, however, is low in calories and may not provide adequate nutrients for most patients. Consult your doctor or dietitian before you drastically change your diet.
