How to Stretch the Ankle After a Cast

When your leg or foot is in a cast for several weeks, your tendons might tighten because they aren't being used. Also, your muscles can atrophy. When the cast is removed, your ankle's range of motion, flexibility and weight-bearing capability might be limited.
