How to Install a Belt on a Precor Elliptical

Precor elliptical trainers combine automatic and manual features. Electrical current from a typical 110-volt outlet powers the display console and the magnetic resistance components. When you work out, a belt interacts between a pulley on the resistance unit and flywheels located in the body of the machine. Belts on elliptical trainers stretch in time, causing slippage that reduces the effectiveness of the resistance feature. You install a belt by accessing the flywheel and pulleys behind the cover on the right side of the trainer.
