I'm new to TDP but I have been discovering how to do things like add recipes and create meals rather well so far. I think the site is great and really hope to take full advantage of it.

I have been having a problem with duplicate recipes (all are correct and have the same URL), but after reading discussion threads, I realize that's a problem a lot of people are having. If possible, I would like to have the duplicates deleted (Breadman Pizza Dough 2lbs-2 extra copies, and Homemade Tuna Noodle Casserole-1 extra copy). I also have one (Eggs Skillet) that is not showing yet, but I realize I probably just need to wait for your cache.

Also, I've been reading that a new recipe builder is due sometime this month. Since I'm new, I'm assuming it hasn't been implemented yet considering the problems I've been having. Do you know approximately when the new recipe builder will be in effect? Will it allow recipes to be added to my plate sooner than they are now?

I really appreciate your help!

Nichole C. :?:

The recipe builder will be everything you and the community has been asking for.
If you post the links to the recipes that you want deleted I will remove them for you.
Moving forward, users will be able to edit and delete their own recipes.

:)

Sounds great! When should we expect it? Previous posts on related topics said 4-6 weeks about 4-6 weeks ago. Now all you see is, it will be here soon or no mention of when to expect it.

Can you please clarify an approximate time?

Thanks!

I know exactly what you mean... I have duplicates of recipes that aren't correct that I need to delete.

Will there be a mass e-mail when the option becomes available? I cook from scratch on almost everything that I make so having the recipe builder would be a great asset to livestrong! I can't wait until it is finished. If you are looking for beta testers please let me know. I will be more than willing to help out!

Thanks

I thought it was gold users this week and all others the next . . . or is this going to turn out like the promise to launch it by Dec. 2008

We want the builder to be Really good when we launch it - even in Beta - and for the record - we are equally as frustrated that it has taken such a long time.

I am still having the same problem -- I enter a recipe, it tells me I was successful, but when I click the link to "view recipe and add to my Plate," it doesn't bring up the recipe. I understand that TDP may need time for it get into the database, but then that link needs to be changed so people don't think they can view it right away.

True not to mention the lack of new entries in the database for some of my older recipes
