The % of Daily (carb, cal, protein, fat etc) means % what? A normal daily requirement or ??? I don't understand.

It is the recommended daily intake percentage of a healthy persons diet based on 2000 calories per day.

If you are referring to the pie chart breakdown, i have been searching all over to find an answer to this, as well as how to balance all the items (so i hope i am not totally diluting your post here).

Should they be balanced? Or is there one that is more important than the others? ARGH! why is this so hard! :)

Thank you to anyone who can help.... have been off and on for about three years now and have it in me to give a real go, so i don't want to trip up on something important.

It depends on you.

I shoot for 40% carbs 30% fat and 30% protein. That seems to be the perfect combo for me to lose weight and avoid eating my arm

Gotcha..now that i know what it is for it makes sense. Especially the carbs & protein part, since they make you feel fuller longer. :) YAY! now i can stop stressing about that and move on with my life! :)
