This is a group for people with 100 pounds or more to lose, though we are inclusive and anyone can join. Most of us have tried enough diets to realize they don't work for the long-term and are embracing a lifestyle change. This is a place to come to discuss our special challenges and share stories, kindness, support, inspiration, and the wisdom we've gained in our journeys with each other. Hi everyone!
I just joined this site and saw this group and felt it would be a good place to share with
people. I have been working for 7 weeks now and have lost 27lbs. I fear I may have gained
a little back because I was just on vacation, but I did something on vacation I normally
don't do. . .I stayed very active and I didn't super indulge. I went with my best friend,
who is the person I overeat with the most, and we did way better than we normally would
have. But I'm home now and back on track and hoping to stay that way. I'm happy to see
other people who are working on this very difficult task. I have well over 100lbs to lose,
but I'm taking it a little goal at a time. My first goal is to have lost a total of 40lbs
by the beginning of April, but to not get discouraged by set-backs in the process.
