About This Group

This is a group for people with 100 pounds or more to lose, though we are inclusive and anyone can join. Most of us have tried enough diets to realize they don't work for the long-term and are embracing a lifestyle change. This is a place to come to discuss our special challenges and share stories, kindness, support, inspiration, and the wisdom we've gained in our journeys with each other. feeling more confident

Ok i know i have been away from this site for awhile. Over the last couple months i have lost 37 pounds. My starting weight was 305 i now weigh as of today 268
just by the what i have lost so far i have to say i feel so much better about myself. I feel like i can breathe better have more energy than i did before. and my clothes fit I can now try on shoes and hill at the store and have them fit. I cut out all soda, chips, candy and am learning how to cook all my food. I also make my lunches for work. I use to go to work and wait till i got home at 10:30pm to eat anything. I stopped eating out or just grabing food in town. i am learning to bake/ grill my food and explore all kinds of veggies. I never eat any veggies before now i eat at meal times and dont snack all day long. I have also been trying to work out and walk more. I know i still have alot more to lose and everyday will be a fight but i can do this

Congratulations! That is great, 37 pounds is a lot! Happy for you!
 
I used to do a similar thing, wait til i got home to eat. The funny and nice thing is by baking, grilling and exploring new foods, you can actually enjoy eating more than before with better food. Or thats how it is for me.
 
You can do this and I have confidence that you got a great start and you will SUCCEED! Congrats!
