Feeling the blahs

posted by cwilliams219 on 12:18 pm

So I have decieded not to wieght in this week. I did okay this weekend, I did all my workouts as planned, but was a little off with some of the food. I did not go over in calories just sodium a couple times and fat one day. Then on Sunday TOM came to visit. I was tired all day yesterday and the time change didnt help any! I am still really sluggish today but I did my workouts and feel better for doing them.

Sorry to all the men for this next part but... after my workouts my cramps are so bad, is there a way to lessen that pain? I do my workouts less intense than on normal days, but it doesnt help. I wont not exercise because I am just weird about being able to do everything that I normally do! I take medicine but that doesnt work either!

Oh lord one or two days with high sodium would be good for me! I'm over every single day but a ton!!! :)

As for the cramps I'm not sure I used to have that probelm when I swam but now working out seems to help.  The only thing I notice is if my stomaches empty there worse.

Eek!  No advice for you!  That sucks though.  Sometimes being a girl is really lousy.

by emolm on Mar 15, 2010 at 12:41 pm

Try a heating pad. Then have a Diet Coke and a banana.

by Miss_Kelsi on Mar 15, 2010 at 12:54 pm

Are you serious about the Dt. Coke and banana?  That just sounds so random!  haha!

by emolm on Mar 15, 2010 at 12:58 pm

Caffeine, water, and potassium. It totally makes sense to me. :)

(I blame the crazy on my mom. You should hear what the Soviets have to do with playing games in a clockwise rotation.)

midol LOL

by cwilliams219 on Mar 15, 2010 at 1:11 pm

I really think emolm is right. After I worked out today I had Crystal Light Energy, which has caffeine, water from my water bottle and the bread I eat has lots of potassium in it! I didnt realize it till I read that but I think it worked! My cramps went away after lunch!!!

by Kallie1 on Mar 15, 2010 at 1:17 pm

crystal light rocks.  I totally get the store brand LOL

by emolm on Mar 15, 2010 at 1:53 pm

The cherry limeade Walmart brand with rummmm. Just take the water bottle out of the cooler at the beach, take a couple sips, make the Crystal Light, fill with rum, and shake.

lol EMOLM!  You so funny actually I might try that  I love rum :)  Soes it work with captain morgan too?

Heating pads are always a good thing.  Or take a pain relivier (I take midol) before you work out.

by EKat24 on Mar 16, 2010 at 5:38 am

Exercise usually helps me. Also heating pads and orgasms (sorry, but it's true)
