Just to compare daily logs with people in a similar stage in life. Grad school or just out of college and working. The 'no kids, have cereal and cake for dinner' group.
Ok so I spent the afternoon in the kitchen, tempted to eat because I was off, but decided
to cook/bake instead. I figured I should be productive!
I made the No Pudge Fat Free Brownies. OMG delicious!! Almost as good as my
Ghiradelli triple chocolate brownies. They were way better than what I thought fat free
would taste like. I wish I had some cool whip to go on top. I'll
subsitute with some frozen yogurt. Speaking of chocolate, there are chocolate or
strawberry marshmallows now? I saw them at Shop Rite today and was a
little weirded out by them.
I also tried the Shirataki Tofu Noodles, in spaghetti shape. I was a tad nervous
because I heard they smelled horrible when you first opened the package, but it
wasn't bad at all. It only smelled if you stuck your nose in the bag. I put some
bruchetta on top to give them some flavor and they were good. I would
definitly have them again. For half the bag it was only 20 calories. Also WTF?? -
they were in the produce section? Weird.
Oh and I made sauteed spinanch with garlic, red pepper seasoning and a tiny dash of sea
salt. So yummy!
I'm really trying to kick it into high gear this week. I lost 2" of my hips and
thighs in the past month but my waist stayed the same. My weight isn't where I
wanted it to be at this point in time, so I really need to get on target again.
hmmm I may be ordering those noodles then if they aren't bad... the cals are def. amazing, and now I want to make some No Pudge.. gah thanks!! :)
You should definitly try them. You can't really eat them plain but with a little sauce or something they are good. I went to Shop-Rite (I checked their website and they don't have any stores in 'Bama) but the noodles I got for $1.99 (it's two servings) and the No Pudge was $3.99, so I was happy with the prices too! lol They have a whole organic, low carb and natural sections so I am tempted to try a few more things.
