I've had the 30 Day Shred video for at least a year now and I haven't gotten past the first workout. I always tell myself that if I stick with it for a solid week, I'll move on to the next video. Well, no such luck. Anyways, I'm back into it and re-committed to losing the 50-60 pounds I gained in Autumn 2007 to the end of 2008. This is my first time using a blog or anything and I hope that being part of a community will help keep me motivated and focused. Thanks for the group!
Thanks! You'll have to let me know what your routine is (every day, how often do you switch levels, etc) and what you think of the program. Personally, it kicks my butt; I always get into it about halfway and I just about have to quit. But I don't because like Jillian says, if you need to rest for five or ten seconds,do it and you'll be able to get back to the rest of the routine. Anyways, let me know how it goes and good luck to you too!
I have done it for two days now and I am still on level one. I have to do the easier moves but I can do most of the workout without stopping so today when I go for day three I am hoping to pump it up a little more. I think I will stick with level one for about a week and then try level two and see how that goes and if its to hard I will go back to level one! Anyways have a great New years!
Way to go, Bethy! I have to do the easier moves too (especially push-ups -- never have been able to do those); I think sticking on one level for a week is a good idea. My plan was to do that and then week two, alternate level 1 and 2 and then week three, add level 3 in there. I don't know how much harder they get, or if they're just different. I did level 2 for the first time last night and whew it kicked my butt!! I was sure breaking a sweat but I feel great and i know its worth it!! Love this dvd!!

Okay, you've totally got me motivated. I'm pulling out my Jillian DVDs tonight!! Thanks for the good example. I'm going to stick with level one for at least 3 days and then I'll reward myself with level two (even though it sounds like it might be a butt kicker!). Thanks again!

its funny cause I have been doing this for almost a week now and I actually look forward to the workouts. I know they are challenging and sometimes I have to stop but its only 20 minutes so thats a PLUS
