Training to Join Air Force!

posted by saheistand on 1:42 pm

Hello!
I'm looking to lose about thirty pounds (from 174 to between 145 - 151 lbs) so I can enlist in the Air Force. I also need to be able to do about 30 push-ups in two minutes, 60 sit-ups in two minutes, as well as run two-miles in about 17 mins. I haven't had been able to do any of these before, so I'm looking forward to train! I've been doing a lot of Zumba and belly-dancing as well as counting calories. I hope the weight goes quickly (yet healthily and permanently) so I can join up soon!

Hi Sara,
You can do it!  I will do sit ups as well and I will do my best for push-ups.  If it is something you really want then you won't give up until you meet your goal.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the boost, Faith! Sit-ups I know I can manage, but those push-ups... I really need to take time to work up to full push-ups from the knee push-ups I've managed to pull off, haha!
You keep up the good work, as well! :)
