Tuesday, January 3, 2012 we started a new BIGGEST LOSER challenge to coincide with the TV
show which started the same day. If possible,
please ONLY POST YOUR STATS BELOW, with 70+
people signed up, I don't want to miss anybody. This challenge will last as long as The Biggest Loser
on television, usually a few months, so…Spring.

This is our 6th weigh in with a loss, gain or we maintained. We will post our weigh in
numbers on Tuesdays. I will take the stats off at 7:00 a.m. sharp on Wednesday mornings.
Anything after this time will unfortunately not be included for that week, but you are
still welcome to post your results. The results will be posted by 9:00/10:00 a.m. the same
day.
For this new challenge, I need the following:
BW (Beginning weight on (Livestrong/The Daily Plate) (this is so we can see how people
have done on their journey since starting with this site, not your beginning weight
offline but since being with Livestrong/The Daily Plate)
SW (Starting weight with The Biggest Loser for this challenge which started Tuesday,
January 3, 2012. This is so we can see how people have done since starting with this most
recent challenge)
LW (last weeks weight)
TW (today's weight, this weeks weight)

I did not post last week because of the huge gain and was embarrassed by it. My life has spun out of control and I am working on getting some control back. This is my first step.

I am so disappointed - I have been exercising twice a day all week & really going for it, so I am at a loss to explain the gain. Mywaistband is loser, but still, 2 pounds seems a lot to gain. I will not give up!

The trainers at my gym changed things up and things are much more intense for our workouts. They have me on an elimination diet and ewwwww raw apple cider vinegar and cod liver oil. Must be working. I love it.

So, this is +1.70 for me, but I am not really concerned about it. I started my period yesterday, so I am pretty sure this is weight /water retention. So it is all good. :)

I have been working out between 1 1/2 and 2 hours a day and gained 3 pounds. I think my body is going back and forth again. I am hoping that between watching my neighbor's grandson and the gym this week, I will lose 2 or more pounds. I am determined to lose.

Gotta lose, not maintain. You would think with all the working out I have been doing and being on my feet, I would be losing. Godlover123 and I each have a watch that tells you how many calories you burn, your heartrate and other stuff. I am beginning to wonder how accurate they are. Mine says I have been burning between 3 and 4,000 + calories a day. Then if that is the case, I should be losing weight, I would think. I am hoping and praying I lose this week.  With my in-laws in town, the temps getting cold enough to sleet in Austin, and being sick, I hybernated when I could so that means my diet tends to not be it's best. I guess coughing does burn lots of calories. If I could have found my heart rate monitor it would have been interesting to see how many calories I burned just because my heart rate was elevated during the coughing spells.

I seem to have a lot of inflammation going on. Joints really hurt, can't put my rings on and feel kinda stiff. I have been lifting more so perhaps that is the issue. Not much progress that's for sure.

My goal is to be at 160.0 by my b-day, March 26th. That is 6 weeks away. IÂ think that is a very reasonable goal. That is a little over a pound a week. I can do it! We all can reach our goals! I hope everyone has a good week!
