I hate how everyone else gets to go crazy and enjoy all this fatty delicious food and if I cheat even one time on one day I gain 5 lbs instandly and it takes me a month to get it back off...... I feel like I am the only one who gains weight just looking at food! I wanna have fun and be crazy and carefree but when I have to pay for it in sweat and tears its a lot less fun. Everyone I know eats so much crap and does no exercise and is a perfect size (maybe not model thin but not 90 lbs overweight like me!) .. I just want to be normal again
(I know this is a little bit of an exaggeration but it sure feels this way)

I definitely know where you are coming from!!!  It really does feel sometimes like everyone else gets off easy and doesn't have to track/weigh/monitor every morsal of food each day.  Then it feels like all I have to do is walk by a bakery I gain weight.  I think cupcakes are actually little magnets that get stuck to my thighs.
Keep at it though!!  Don't let the numbers on the scale dictate your mood.  Hard sometimes I know.... I still work to convince myself that the number on the scale is not the end of the world.  How my cloths fit and how I feel are much better measures of how the weightloss is going.
It took 8 years for me to put on the 75 lbs..... I managed to drop 25 in 2011.... unfortunately I put a bunch back on over december after a bad fall down the stairs..... but I haven't put it all back on..... yah me :) .... I still have 8lbs off..... so that's a win to me!!!  It takes time to drop off the weight :)  It's as much an exercise in patience as it is an effort to stay on track.

its so hard not to snack at night.. i am my most hungry after 6pm to 11pm why??  dose this go away? what will help with that??

 Hi nikki:
i won't say I know alot about how the body works but i do know if you've gone on a diet recently it takes sometime for you to get use to the restricted calories your taking in which might end up giving you hunger pangs later in the day. I suggest having a fruit as a snack but only if your feeling hungry and only one.  Plus you should give yourself one cheat day a week. On that cheat day you can have whatever you like, but you can't go crazy and have huge portions. These are all just suggestions as I've been fighting weight gain most of my life (35 years old) I feel like I have some sound knowledge in the area.  I hope you find this post somewhat useful and good luck! :)

.thank you.. i wanted to have a cheat day but i felt guilty but i do need it if im going to make it through this.. just one day that i can allow myself to eat a sweet and have a good cup of coffee.. i think i will try the fruit at night if i need it that was good advice.. i to have battled my 34yers with being heavy but i have just had enough. i dont no any thing about diet or exercise  but im trying to learn..thank u again..

 Hi again nikki :):
You can have the cheat day but just remember not to go nuts. F.y.i. a cup of coffee won't kill you as long as your not putting alot of sugar in it.  Also some cardio exercise will help you trim down just a 30 minute walk 3 to 4 times a week. Then you can slowly increase the amount of time spent walking or your pace.  Thats how I started off personally, plus my job generally has me walking around a bit so that helped just doing that and watching what I ate (no soda or sweets except for one day a week) helped me drop about 20lbs. Still got another 20lbs to go but I think I'm on the right track. I'm usually checking out the posts in this group so drop me a line if you need a push :)

  I have the same problem... I do well all day and evening.  Then it hits me around 9pm, sometimes later.
I find myself sneaking the snacks, and the only person who will catch me is me.  I wish peanuts and pumpkin seeds didn't  count...
