Hey Hey Hey! It's a brand new day so what do you people have to say???? Whine, Bitch, Bellow and Moan, just remember, you're never alone. Share your victories, vent your defeats, & share advice, just give our room a little of your own special spice! (Cheesy enough?)
Ok, so I have posted something similar in my other group, but seeing as how I am a newbie
to most of you I figured why not:
My husband and I decided we are going to save for Europe. Therefore, we are going to
Disneyland for our honeymoon just to get away and do something simple and fun. So, anyone
who has recommendations on Disneyland (tips, tricks, things to see, other area
attractions) please let me know. We are trying to at least do it up a smidge big...
We are staying at The Monage (I think that is the name) for 5 days. We are thinking of
taking the train there so we can relax on the way.

This is my wedding website, there are some better pics of the hubby and me on here.
Oh, and I have requested that all wedding party participants choose a theme song to come
out to at the reception (think light hearted to histerically funny) and we have to choose
one, but my brain is getting stuck, and suggestions?
Wait, are you going to Disneyland or Disney World? You said one thing here, and the other on your website...
I know much more about So Cal (and I see you're also in CA) than I do about FL. :D
I could defintely help you with DisneyWORLD, but I haven't been to Disneyland since I was in 4th grade and lived in SoCal.
As far as the songs go, if you want light-hearted and funny, here are my suggestions:
Baby Got Back - probably not appropriate since you look like you are in great shape and don't have much "back."
I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred - always a favorite for weddings. Especially good if someone in the wedding party is considered vain, and doesn't care if others see him/her as vain.
Business Time by Flight of the Conchords - It's a tribute to the suburban sex life for a married couple, but without being crass or inappropriate (much). If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend listening to it. You can find it on iTunes. Better yet, you can go to my profile page and play it on my personal music player near the bottom right of the page.
Finally, good theme songs like that can be found in TV show theme songs like Gilligan's Island, Speed Racer, or whatever theme song seems to fit best.

Disneyland...sorry, the original plan was Disneyworld, then airline tickets went through the roof and my boss got a stick up his butt, apperantly can't live without me for more then 5 days!
OK! My boyfriend and I went to Disneyland/California Adventure with the 3-day Park Hopper pass two years ago. I definitely recommend it. What we did was spend the first day at DL, the second day at CA, and the third day we did sort of a half day at each and mainly did our favorite stuff again, or things we may have missed. I also recommend taking advantage of the Fast Pass tickets where available. We went in April, so lines weren't really a problem like they would be in the middle of summer, but it's great if you want to grab a bite to eat, or go on another ride, while you "wait in line."
If you have time and if you two are into more roller coasters and carnival-type rides, Knott's Berry Farm is another park only about 5 miles from DL. It's been much longer since I've been there (I used to work there!), so I'm not really sure what it's like exactly nowadays.
Um...I know there are other people here who can hopefully shed more light on other stuff in the area. So Cal was my home for 10 years, but it's also been about that long since I actually lived there, so things have changed a lot.
But I know you'll have a blast. Our time at Disneyland was SO much fun...the most I've had in reeeeally long time. You can just relax and be a kid. It really is the happiest place on earth (I'm sooo cheesy!) I still have the expired Park Hopper Pass in my wallet. :D

A friend splurged for the two of us to go to Disneyland. She had gotten a bonus at work for recommending me after I'd worked there 3 months, so she used the bonus for the trip.
We did the requisite rides at Disneyland and went to Knott's Berry Farm. This was...oh, 12 years ago. The log ride with the photo of us shooting straight down in water was fun. The Indiana Jones ride was awesome, too (never quite got used to the puffs of air in my face, which delightedly freaked me out).
It made me remember going as a kid with my parents. As we made our way through the line for Space Mountain, I kept trying to convince my parents that I had a heart condition so I couldn't go on the ride. My parents didn't buy it. The staff strapped me on my mom's lap in the front of the first car. I swear I about lost my lunch because it felt like I was going to fly off the front of the car into the dark, starry "night".
Um...so I don't know how helpful that is for your honeymoon. I hope you have a blast, though :)
ooooh ooooh oooh! We just went to Disneyland in February, and we stayed at the Menage (we called it the menage a trois! LOL It was pretty nice, actually! And I had never been anywhere Disney related, so I really enjoyed it! I thought the rides were great because they weren't too scary but they were a lot of fun. I really enjoyed space mountain, and the buzz lightyear ride. We were only there 1 day, but there is another park nearby (great adventure, i think?) and I would have liked to check that one out!
As for songs....I dunno. My cousin had "Get this party started" playing as his attendants walked in. That was kinda cute! :-)
