Heart rate monitors have got to be one of the best motivational fitness tools out there. You can keep track of your body's exertion during workouts and compare that directly to your dietary intake. Best of all, you can share your workout results with other HRM users here who can provide great feedback and support. Share things like: Calories burned, Max HR, Avg HR, or whatever other results you want.
Hi: I just join to this group today, because I want to share my experiences using my Polar S625X and continue monitoring my progress during this time, after I was diagnostic cancer prostate. For 2 months out of exercises , I'm returning to the field and I want to reach the level I had before my diagnostics. Now my goal is to become competitive again and lose few pounds, just by exercising without diet or supplements and get better health running 10 K every day , 6 days a week.
3,500 calories = 1 lb so I add net calories up at the end of the week and hope it matches with my weight loss for the week. My only complaint about the daily plate is showing me that I can eat more calories that day because I burned off 700, 800 calories . Do I really need to increase how much I'm eating........don't think so, however, it's nice to know I can when I want to. It's a balancing act with the food.
You'll do fine whether you eat those 350 calories or not. Good Luck!
I actually wore mine last Monday. I have a desk...
