Heart rate monitors have got to be one of the best motivational fitness tools out there. You can keep track of your body's exertion during workouts and compare that directly to your dietary intake. Best of all, you can share your workout results with other HRM users here who can provide great feedback and support. Share things like: Calories burned, Max HR, Avg HR, or whatever other results you want.

I just got my HRM!

Hello All,
I just got my Polar FT40!

 

I can't wait to use it tomorrow.
I set it up and did the fit test.
Do you guys input your data as a whole workkout or do you break it down by activity?
So do I start with the warmup, do my weights and end with cardio to get one total?

 Congrats! I'm on a Suunto and I breakdown each activity. My curiosity is never satisfied, even while I mown the lawn I wear it. It all counts.
