So I started BJJ last night! I was nervous heading in there but once I started I was fine
:D I can see myself really getting into it! I managed to do my Kickboxing class straight
after...looks like I underestimated my stamina lol I was hanging around for a friend
after that and another JJ class for all levels was starting. They asked me would I like
to join in seeing as I was already there :D So I did...I learned 3 different sweeps
altogether last night. I am sooo sore today...but in a good way of course ;) I can't
wait for Wed for more!!
Hope u all are well :D
LOL It was great working with the school's 200lbs guy-everyone-wants-to-beat! ;) I'm a tough cookie..ribcage is almost back to normal :P
bjjdenver,
I joined up at Core Martial Arts in Englewood :) The instructors there are really great, encouraging and welcoming as are my fellow students!
Many thanks for the best wishes :)

Sounds like you are doing really well! It's a good feeling when you have an awsome workout.
Have a great day. Boo
Thanks Boo! Hope things are going well for you and that you have recovered from your ankle injury :)
Have a great wkd!
Thanks saolnua I've been running on it and no shoes in the dojo. Now I find it's hard to keep all activities up. Working does get in the way of things.
There is a workshop next weekend with Leo Loucks. He started with Gary Legacy Shorin Ryu Karate Jutsu. He has an tremendous history in Martial arts, Kick Boxing, has been a Police Officer for many years now including a long stint in the tactical team unit. It's always great sparring & fighting drills. My two sons are attending with me, which will be fun. See ya Boo
