If you are 40+ (or any age for that matter)and finally committing to becoming 'Fit and Fabulous' for the first time or the hundreth time, this is the group for you. Weight loss at any age is a challenge, but often the challenges are compiled with so many other "opportunities" (eeek!) when you get to a certain age. So... this group is about INSPIRATION, COMMUNICATION, and TRANSFORMATION. Oh.. and losing a pound or 2, or 35, or 100, or etc....
I'm down 4.2 pounds on Making the Cut. I lost 2" in my waist and 1.75" in my thighs since starting the diet on Thursday. My energy level is through the roof and I don't have cravings. The best part is when I get home from work, I can focus on exercise, chores, and don't worry about dinner in a mad rush or no longer snack after work! I go for an MRI this morning. I'll get results May 7th.
Wow. thats fantastic Boatchick. What is the diet again?
Good luck on the MRI, hope you get good news
Yesterday very busy day in preschool and grocery shopping after work. I got in 8146 steps in. Limping around I did well. Of course end of day had to put foot up. I crashed as soon as we got home at 8:00 PM of course to watch BL.
Today going to take it a little easy while I babysit all day.
Tomorrow is the day, can't wait to get a shower without a plastic bag on my foot while up on step during shower. A little hard to shower on 1 foot.
Have a great day.
You are recovering slowly but surely it sounds. SAFE.
The diet is "Making the Cut" a book by Jillian Michaels.
Enjoy that shower!!!! I do an extra sud myself in your honor :-)
That would kill me having to wait a week for the results. I think I lost about 4 lbs as well (I put 5 back last week). Need to check my notebook for where I was on Monday. So, the Anabolic diet has similar results. I'm finding myself eating meats and greens like there's no tomorrow so I can get up to my usual # of calories, but make the 60g of carbohydrates each day. Not hungry at all though. Amazing. Also I did confirm my suspicions that the eczema was being made worse by a food. The redness went away and my hand is almost normal. Next week I'll start adding back the carbs to see which one does it. (Well, if the weight loss is going this good, maybe not...)
