Past atheletes who feel they're past prime. You woke up one day, couldn't fit into your clothes, couldn't walk up the stairs (all three of them) with out panting, couldn't jog to the end of the driveway with out breaking into a sweat. Well that is all going to change here and now, because underneath all of this fat is a beautiful six pack waiting to be seen (even if it's seen only in the privacy of your own home)!I am not a poser wearing sweats because I'm too big for anything else, I'm working out
i will go grocery shopping for the first time this weekend. i love the whole
grocery shopping experience. i like making the list at home, checking to see what we
need, doing the shopping (when i don't have any of my kids with), and putting things away
and getting organized later. today, though, i made a quick stop by the market for cat
food and limes. as i was walking through the store i was seeing calories instead of
the food i normally buy. and i was getting huge red flags on many of my oft purchased
foods. it was no fun walking through the store.
i want to turn this around!!! i'm looking for grocery shopping tips, good food
choices, any wisdom you can share to help me return the fun back to my trips to the
market but stay within my restricted calorie allotment. thanks!! greta

Thebest bet is to stay away from the processed foods....shop the outer isles not the inner isles. :)That has helped me. It has been a longtime since I bought a packaged side dish...like flavoredrice or pasta... I try to make as much from scratch. I still buy frozen lunches which is one of mynext challenges to stop.
