For people who can't sleep at night, which makes for midnight snacks and hungry tired tomorrows. This group is to trade sleeping/eating healthy tips and for encouragement when we are exhausted during the day.
I have been struggling with insomnia about as long as I have been struggling with my weight! I cut out coffee and cokes (even diet) and that just made me worse! I sleep for maybe, at the most, 4 hours a night and then I will have a night that I will sleep 14 hours.... the schedule sucks!
OMGOMGOMG I do that too! Just last night I slept for 12 whole hours and for the previous nights, I've been sleeping an average of only 2-3 hours. It looks like I'm going to stay at that average if I don't sleep now :\
I am the same way! Sometimes I go for a few weeks with only a few hours of sleep a day and then I can sleep for 15+ hours straight on the weekend! It's crazy.
I read somewhere that if I limited myself to 8 hours rather than 15+ when that happens I would have better luck getting to sleep the next night, but this is really hard because I'm so exhausted :(
