She uses the Couch to 5K Training progam from Cool Running.  It's a great program - and they also have an ipod download.  I prefer theirs, because you can use your own playlist while using it.

Really I will have to check it out. I never thought about running. Seems overwelming. But I'm on week 2 and kinda see me jogging someday now. :)

I completed the C25K a couple of weeks ago.  Last week I was actually able to do 4 miles (amazing!) - I've been athletic, but never-EVER a runner.  I did 100m hurdles in school and that was it!
I kid you not, the weight is practically falling off.  The scale is moving consistently each week, but even that doesn't do it justice.  My pants have gotten so much looser and it's not even been 3 months!

That is amazing Kelsi. Great job!

I absolutely despise running - but that program does make it managable to start.  I did two weeks of it a year ago and quit because of flare-ups (I have fibromyalgia).  But I think I can do it if I stretch it out into longer time frames, so I'm not pushing quite as hard every week.

It's frustrating to have to take things so slowly.  Especially when I'm really motivated and want to jump in!
