7-6 And I'm done!

posted by ohbonobogirl on 6:27 am

1: Deadlift: 52.5+ Smith bar/8 x2
2A: Dumbbell squat with heels raised on plates: 20e/20, 20e/20, 20e/18, 20e/16
2B: Shoulder Press: 15e/20, 15e/20, 15e/20, 15e/18
2C: Step-ups: 20e/20, 20e/20, 20e/20, 20e/18
2D: Underhand grip lat pulldown: 70e/20, 70e/20, 70e/18, 70e/15 (the gym changed machines and for some reason replaced a nice wonderfully smoothly running one with one that was squeaky with a couple of catches in the cable track.  I was quite grumpy about this...)

And now I'm completely done!  I'm not really sure what I'm going to do now.  I found the Female Body Breakthrough at a used bookstore and may start that, or I may revisit favorite stages from NROL.  I still want to be able to do a pull-up, so maybe I'll go back to that stage for a bit.  First, though, I'm taking a week off!

Congrats Ohbonobogirl! How do you feel now that you've finished? What changes did you see? I got off track in Nov/Dec...so I'm further back :( Oh well, I'm just plugging along!

I'm really impressed with myself for sticking out the program.  I have muscles now, too and I love them!  When I started out getting in shape, I was stretching a size 12 pants and really decided to make a change when it looked like I'd need to buy a 14.  Now I'm in 6s pretty consistently, with an occasional 4 thrown in.

I wish I had taken before and after pictures so I would be able to see the differences more.  The ladies at the gym tell me I look a lot different, but I don't notice it too much other than smaller clothes.

Keep plugging along Spunkytj and you'll get there before you know it!
